So we have been getting some awesome sticker sets over the years for our many, official, and 3rd party transformers, from the lovely people at reprolables. But now it seems hasbro want in on the action.
We here at kapow are very pleased to say that we have managed to get our hands on some of the new sets for the combiner wars Menasor and Superion. Today we have been meticulously applying the stickers to all 5 members of the Stuntions and have taken some before and after pics for you lovely people to have a look at.
First up we have Breakdown. He gets a bit short changed in this sticker set, with only stickers being applied in car mode. On the spoiler, under the window and rear lights. They do look nice however. take a look at the before and after pics…..
Whilst theses are minimal, the nice big red spoiler does make a big difference.
Up next we set upon Dead end and he certainly is a little more blessed with stickers. But this time its mostly in robot mode, on his forearms, crotch and toes. With just headlights for the car. Take a look at the before and after pics here.
Up next is Drag strip, this guy is probably our favourite of the team (in terms of the stickers) as he gets a nice even mix between car and robot. Take a look at the pics here. Legs, lights, shoulders spoiler, the works!
That brings us to the newest member of the team, Off Road, who also has a nice mix between modes, with legs, forearms, chest, some awesome decals on the bonnet, and some stickers to the rear.
Lastly is the leader of the Stunticons. Meanasor himself. He doesn’t get a huge amount of stickers. This time its just shoulders chest and legs. But they do make quite a difference. take a look
Now to the big boy himself! The stickers for Menasor’s torso are quite minimal, but do add a little something. With the stickers applied to shoulders, legs and a little to the chest..
So that was the Decepticons, now for the Autobots. First up Alpha Bravo. He gets an even mix, with forearms, chest and a couple on the helicopter mode.
Firefly only gets stickers in robot mode, but they do make a difference, take a look.
Skydive has some lovely robot stickers, with just the one in plane mode.
Air Raid has a nice even mix between robot and plane mode.
That leaves us with the the Leader of the team, Silverbolt. He is blessed with some rather nice stickers in robot mode, with just tail fin stickers in plane mode.
As with Menasor, Superion’s stickers are more visible for the individual bots, rather than for Superion himself.
We had good fun with this set. Personally we felt that over all The stickers for Superion we the better of the 2 sets included, but they all come for such a low price so that is just awesome!!! The stickers are good quality, and defiantly have a certain G1 fell to them. the best thing about them is the easy to follow instructions on the back.
We are glad to be taking this last picture…..
